If I set the timer to turn the water on once every 7 days, will it turn on the next day and then again in 7 days, or will it wait 7 days before turning the water on for the first time?

The timer will begin watering on the day programmed and then repeat the cycle every seven days, if programmed for once a week watering.
can this be programmed to turn on one day but not the next. are there different settings for all days of the week
