The built-in rain-guage in the Ray Padula Sweeping Waters Oscillating sprinkler is built into the base of the sprinkler that collects water droplets as the sprinkler oscillates back and forth. This will measure how much water has been applied, similar to a traditional rain-gauge that can be placed seperately on your lawn.
